Own aircraft and resources
Book an aircraft that belongs to someone else, or a room, simulator or equipment.
Own aircraft. On the booking form choose Own aircraft and type the registration. The first time, the school makes a record of it, with the type and the owner's name and phone number if you have them. The owner does not need an account. Suggestions come from a list shared by all schools, which holds registrations and types only.
On the calendar. All own aircraft share one line called OWN AIRCRAFT, with a further row where bookings overlap. Use the Show chip to turn it on or off.
Approval. If you are office staff or an instructor the booking is made straight away. Anyone else sends a request: the slot is held, the people who approve are emailed and you are told yes or no. If nobody answers, the request lapses and the slot is freed. Administrators choose who approves and how long a request waits, and can switch own aircraft off, in Settings > Bookings and calendar.
Resources. Rooms, simulators and equipment are added in Settings > Aircraft and resources. Choose a kind, or add your own, and choose who can book it: everyone or chosen roles. Resources show on the calendar like aircraft and don't ask for the purpose of a flight. A resource with bookings to come can't be deleted; switch it off instead.
