Your Inbox and notifications

The bell and the Inbox. The bell at the top of the page shows how many new notices you have. Select it to see the latest few, open one, or mark it as read. Open the Inbox from the menu to see them all. You can show All or Unread, mark an item read or unread, remove it, or mark everything read. Read items are cleared after 90 days unless you choose a different time (30, 90, 180 or 365 days, or keep everything). Unread items are never removed.

Choose what you receive. Go to My Settings > Notifications and Inbox. Each kind of notice has two tick boxes, Inbox and Email. For example you can keep booking changes in your Inbox but switch their email off. Under "How emails arrive" choose an email each time, or one summary email a day. Your choices save as you make them. Sign-in and security emails are always sent. News and offers are chosen separately under Email preferences.

Watching. Open a booking that isn't yours and choose Watch to hear if it changes or is cancelled. On the dashboard, select an aircraft and choose Watch to hear about bookings on it and when it goes offline or online. Choose Watching again to stop.

For administrators. Settings > Group Notifications switches any notice off for everyone in your group. Notices about the group, such as documents expiring or someone joining, go to your administrators unless you choose other roles. People can still choose how they receive the notices they do get.
